The Worshipful Master of the Lodge of St Paul No. 6516, WBro George Fletcher, together with the members of the Lodge Committee were determined that COVID-19 would not prevent them from acknowledging 50-years of service to Freemasonry by two of its senior members, WBro Peter Mobbs PPJGW and WBro William (Bill) Cox SLGR.
As far as Bro Gerry McCrory from Old Northamptonian Lodge No 5694 is concerned, having tested positive for COVID-19 at Christmas, becoming very ill and spending time in hospital where he received excellent treatment and support from the NHS staff and his GP, there was no question that he should put himself forward for the NHS COVID-19 vaccination team.

More than 30,000 young people with disabilities and special educational needs will be able to take part in The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, thanks to a grant of £300,000 from the Freemasons.
The Freemasons have become a strategic partner of The Duke of Edinburgh's Award (DofE), funding a new national programme to upskill its team and volunteers. The programme will also help enrol more schools and clubs, to ensure all young people have access to DofE.

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of WBro Christopher Martin Smith PAGDC to the Grand Lodge Above on Saturday the 22nd of May 2021. WBro Chris had been receiving treatment for bowel cancer at Bedford Hospital. His family moved him to St John’s Hospice, Moggerhanger for his last night.
