As in previous years, Freemasonry was well represented at a number of Remembrance Sunday Services across the Province paying tribute to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in defence of freedom
In Northampton our Provincial Grand Master, RW Bro Max Bayes, and Deputy Provincial Grand Master, W Bro Trevor Boswell, took part in a procession along with a number of Civic Leaders and dignitaries before attending the service at All Saints Church and laying a wreath at the Town & County War Memorial.

In Stamford, our Assistant Provincial Grand Master, W Bro David Burton, took part in the service and wreath laying accompanied by the Worshipful Master from the Lodge of Merit.

On 2 November 2015 the Provincial Grand Master, RW Bro Max Bayes, accompanied by his Deputy, WBro Trevor Boswell, visited the new Masonic Hall in Huntingdon where they were shown round by WBro John Benson and Bro Malcolm Firmedow.

The Provincial Grand Master and his Deputy were impressed by the building and the progress being made in turning it into a modern Masonic centre. It is hoped the new building will be ready for use by the end of the year.

This will be a new era for Freemasonry in Huntingdon and is certain to impress all who use and visit the new premises.

At Three Counties Lodge on Monday 26 October 2015 WBro John Manby installed VWBro Richard Davis into the Chair of the Lodge.

In his address, after congratulating all concerned, the Provincial Grand Master, RWBro Max Bayes, announced changes to his Executive team that are to take effect from May next year.
WBro Jim Boughton is to retire as Assistant Provincial Grand Master.
He is to be replaced as Assistant Provincial Grand Master by WBro Charles Bennett, presently Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies.
WBro Dale Gilbert, presently Provincial Deputy Grand Director of Ceremonies, is to become Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies.

On behalf of the Lodge of St James, WBro George Frosdick presents a cheque for £1,500 to Sue Wright at the Hope Centre, Northampton, on 1 October 2015.

The centre is a local Charity that provides support to the homeless people of Northampton.
