2018 Wayne Williams Golf Trophy
On Tuesday 31st July saw the Royal Arch hold the annual Wayne Williams Golf Trophy Competition at Peterborough Milton Golf Course. The 2018 attendance was the best attendance in the history of the tournament. By all accounts it was a cracking day!
Fourteen teams from four Provinces, produced some high-class golf on a course in first class condition, despite the recent heat-wave. The proceedings ended with a superb carvery produced by the club chefs and staff. There were winners in several classifications, most notably our own Grand Superintendent, E Comp Jim Boughton, claiming the prize for being closest to the pin for a first drive on a par three hole!
The overall winners were the Peterborough Craft Team of David Burton, Wayne Stocks and Tom Burgh. They were presented with the trophy by the Past Grand Superintendent, E Comp Wayne Williams.
The 2019 competition will take place on August 6th. Those interested can register with E Comp David Jackson.
