As result of the raffle held at her very successful Ladies' Festival, Wendy Swainson, the wife of Chicheley Lodge's Immediate Past Master, WBro Daryll Swainson PPGStwd, was able to present a cheque for £625 to the Pete Spencer's Helping Hands Memorial Fund charity.
Pete Spencer MBE created the charity in 1980 after being introduced to a 7-year old boy, Danny, who suffered from a very rare premature-ageing disease.

At the meeting of Lodge of Installed Masters No. 3422 held on Wednesday the 31st of October 2018, the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, WBro Charles Bennett, gave a most informative address regarding Masonic Charities.

At the Three Counties Lodge No. 9278 Installation meeting held on the 29th October 2018, the Provincial Grand Master, RWBro Max Bayes, announced the retirement of WBro David Burton PSGD as Assistant Provincial Grand Master to take effect from the next meeting of Provincial Grand Lodge, which is to be held on the 16th May 2019.
He further announced that he would be appointing WBro Mark Constant PProvSGW to the position of Assistant Provincial Grand Master at the same meeting.

The Installation meeting of the Three Counties Lodge No. 9278 saw WBro Tom Quinn, Provincial Grand Master of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Bedfordshire & Northamptonshire in the Royal Order of Scotland, installed into the Chair of King Solomon.
