On Saturday 10th June 2023 (the hottest day of the year so far), saw the annual Hackleton Fete and Fun Day.
W. Bro Eric Ellison, W. Bro Richard Collins, W. Bro Ian Johnson, W. Bro Tony Potter.
The event was very well supported by the residents of Hackleton and the nearby villages. The fete was to support and raise money to fund other community events during the year, both in Hackleton and its surrounding villages. W. Bro Peter Jones, one of the organisers, was very pleased with the support shown for this event.
There were a number of stands; a tombola, entertainment and games on the stage outside and lots of other activities for people to enjoy.
Salcey Forest Lodge, No. 9854, which holds its meetings in Hackleton village hall, was very pleased to have an exhibition stand on the day; making both the lodge and freemasonry visible to the village and the wider community. The stand was manned by a number of the members of Salcey Forest Lodge.
A tremendous time was had by all those who attended.
