It is with great sadness to advise of the Passing to the Grand Lodge above of WBro Brian Thompson, PPSGW on Wednesday 12thApril 2023 after a long illness.
A builder by trade, WBro Brian was a Stalwart of Freemasonry in general and the Kettering Group in particular, providing great service as a Group Officer for many years.
Initiated into St Crispin Lodge 5627 in 1979, he progressed through the offices, serving as Master in 1990, before becoming a founder member of Trinity Lodge 9165 in 1985 and then taking on another year as Master in that Lodge in 1994.
It was a joy to Brian when in 2018, his son Jonathon was initiated into St Crispin Lodge, continuing the family connection.

Active in several Companion Orders, Brian held a unique distinguition of holding not only the Provincial Grand Master`s Certificate of Merit in the Craft in 2007, but also the Most Excellent Grand Superintendent`s Certificate of Merit in the Royal Arch awarded in 2015.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday 3rd May 2023 at 11.00am at St Mary Magdalene Church, Geddington, followed by a private cremation and refreshments at Kettering Masonic Hall, York Road, Kettering.
RIP WBro Brian, you lived respected, died regretted and will be greatly missed .
