We are pleased to announce that WBro Tim Almond PAGDC will be appointed as Assistant Provincial Grand Master following the Installation of WBro Mark Constant PSGD as Provincial Grand Master on Wednesday the 27th of July 2022.
WBro Tim was born in Heywood, Lancashire and spent his early life in Bury before going to University.
Having been introduced to Freemasonry in 1994, WBro Tim was eventually initiated into The Towcestrian Lodge No. 9510 in 1995. He subsequently progressed through the lodge offices to become Master in 2004.
Tim then had the privilege of being appointed as PPGStwd in 2006 and ProvSGW in 2015. He was a founder member of Silverstone Lodge No. 9877 in 2013 before becoming Master for a second time in 2014. Tim is also a member of the Palmer Lodge of Provincial Grand Stewards No. 8995.
E Comp Tim joined the Royal Arch when he was exalted into St John’s Chapter in 2000. He served as ProvDepGDC from 2018 to 2020 and is also a member of Chapter of Fidelity No. 445 and Chapter of First Principles No. 3422.
Tim is also a member of Mark, RAM, Royal & Select Masters, Rose Croix, and Red Cross of Constantine.
Married to Penny, Tim has three grown-up children and has lived in Silverstone since 1996. His hobbies include scuba diving, international travel, and building kit-cars.
