Further to our article dated Sunday the 3rd of May 2020 (click here to view), we are pleased to report that Sandra Summerfield, the wife of WBro Jack Summerfield, was able to make a total of 214 face-masks thereby raising £1,070 for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Kettering General Hospital (KGH).
The majority of the money was used to purchase five sets of computer-tablets and headphones, which will be used by ICU patients to contact their friends and family.
The remainder of the money was presented to ICU staff in the form of Morrison's vouchers, so as to enable them to purchase tea, coffee and snacks for their break-room.
We congratulate Sandra for doing so much to help the hospital, its staff and patients.
