The Three Counties Lodge hosted their Installation meeting on Friday 20 October 2017 at Sheaf Close, Northampton. It was a very memorable and special evening with the Masonic Charitable Foundation’s Deputy President, VW Bro James Newman, installed into the Chair of King Solomon by W Bro Norman Pope.
Unsurprisingly, the meeting was very well attended and included the Provincial Grand Master, RW Bro Max Bayes and his Provincial Executive team along with a large number of Grand Lodge and acting Provincial Grand Lodge Officers.
The Provincial Grand Treasurer, W Bro David Watson was appointed and invested as Senior Warden and the Past Provincial Grand Master, RW Bro Barrie Hall, as Junior Warden.
After the Installation ceremony, The Provincial Grand Master, RW Bro Max Bayes, gave his traditional half year address and it can be read in full by clicking here. During his address, he announced that W Bro Tom Quinn, Provincial Grand Master of the Royal Order of Scotland, will be installed as Worshipful Master of the Three Counties Lodge in October 2018.
W Bro Michael Harrison, Past Master of Old Uppinghamian Lodge number 4227 in Province of Leicestershire and Rutland, presented the Provincial Grand Master with one of his painting for display at Sheaf Close. His work has been included as part of the ‘Rough to Smooth’ exhibition of 9 artists at Freemasons Hall during this Tercentenary year.
