The first Annual General Meeting of the Northamptonshire and Huntingdonshire New and Young Masons Club took place at Corby Masonic Centre on Sunday the 17th of March 2019.
Reporting on the meeting, the newly elected Chairman, Bro Daniel Cooke, said:
Thanks to everyone who attended the first AGM of the Northants & Hunts NYMC, and a special thank you to Corby Masonic Centre for their hospitality in hosting the event.
I think we have started well and have a great foundation to build on, This wouldn’t have happened without the fantastic efforts of the brethren who have been the driving force behind this club: Rab Reid, Mark Constant, and Steve Burton.

On Wednesday the 20th of March 2019, a group of local Freemasons visited the Talbot Butler Cancer Ward at Northampton General Hospital and presented staff with a cheque for £7,550 in support of the ward's Emergency Assessment Bay (EAB).
The cheque was presented by WBro Richard Norman, who was instrumental in raising the money as a result of the ongoing treatment he has been receiving on the ward.

On Thursday the 14th of March 2019 the Assistant Provincial Grand Master, WBro David Burton PSGD, was pleased to present an MCF Patron's certificate to the Worshipful Master of St Peter's Lodge, WBro Kanesh Mashru, and the Lodge's Charity Steward, WBro Tony Elsey TD ProvJGW.

The 1st of the shortest month, February, saw the Exaltation in Chapter of St Giles of Bro Anthony McDermott to become Comp Anthony McDermott and was splendidly handled by the 3 Principals, E Comp Paul Seaton MEZ, E Comp Garth Coward H , E Comp Stephen Harker J and the rest of the team.
It was also the occasion of an Official Visit by the 2nd Provincial Grand Principal, E Comp Neil Handley accompanied by his DC E Comp Mick Smith and a number of Provincial Officers.
The Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies was behind the camera ,which some say is the best place for him!
