Today, April 30th, should have been one full of joy and celebration as a large number of us were due to travel to London to support not only Excellent Companions Michael Binsted and Norman Pope on their being appointed Past Grand Standard Bearers at the Annual Investiture meeting of Supreme Grand Chapter, but also Excellent Companion Neil Handley on his promotion to Past Grand Sword Bearer.
Following the meeting, arrangements had been made for us all to repair to a Hotel for Lunch, together with a liquid reception, in order to assist the three Comancheros celebrate their appointments, replicating the very happy gathering after the November Supreme Grand Chapter Convocation.
Alas, under present conditions this was not to be but I invite you to join with me in raising a glass, not only of congratulations to Excellent Companions Michael, Norman and Neil, but also of companionship to all within this fine Province.
Companions, until we are able to meet again take care, stay safe and may the True and Living God Most High be with you and your loved ones.
E Comp James Boughton
Most Excellent Grand Superintendent

We are pleased to announce that the Mark Province of Northamptonshire and Huntingdonshire has made a donation of £1,000 towards the 2024 MCF Festival.
The Provincial Grand Master, RWBro Max Bayes said:
In these awful times it is understandable if the fact that we are in Festival is sometimes overlooked. I am therefore all the more grateful to have received this most generous donation from the Brethren of the Northamptonshire and Huntingdonshire Mark Province.
