After December’s Quarterly Communications, Worshipful Master Chris Elt represented Euston Lodge at the Annual General Meeting of the Masonic Charitable Foundation, standing in for Charity Steward WBro Bob Catchpole.

Following a convivial buffet lunch, members gathered in Room 16, the MCF Lodge Room, to witness the official business of the AGM and receive a member’s update.
During proceedings, Grand Patron Lodges were formally recognised and invited to stand. Of the seventeen Lodges awarded this distinction, only four were present. Bro Chris was deeply honoured to rise and bow in acknowledgement of Euston Lodge’s presence, marking the Lodge’s proud inclusion on the wall of the robing room in Lodge Room 16.
Speaking afterwards, Bro Chris remarked:
“I am honoured to receive this accolade on behalf of Euston Lodge. It’s a shame Bro Bob couldn’t be here himself after all the dedicated work he has put in as our Charity Steward.”
This recognition stands as a testament to the Lodge’s commitment to charitable giving and to the tireless efforts of Bro Bob, whose stewardship has ensured Euston’s place among the Grand Patron Lodges of the MCF. Grand Patron status is achieved when a Lodge has donated over £40,000.
