Anglo Scottish Lodge No. 8844 is pleased to invite members, their families, and prospective candidates to a dedicated Information Evening on Tuesday 27th January 2026 at 6:30pm, held at Freemasons’ Hall, Sheaf Close, Northampton.

This evening has been designed to offer an open, friendly and informative introduction to Freemasonry, welcoming wives, partners, friends and anyone interested in learning more about what Freemasonry truly represents in the modern world - An Evening of Insight and Fellowship
The format of the evening allows guests to experience the social side of Freemasonry in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Guests will be greeted and looked after by experienced members and hosts, ensuring there is plenty of opportunity for conversation and questions, while the Lodge briefly opens to conduct essential business.
A programme of short talks will then provide a clear and balanced insight into Freemasonry, including:
- What Freemasonry is – and just as importantly, what it is not
- The values of friendship, charity and personal development
- Why men choose to join today and what they gain from membership
Speakers will share their personal journeys and experiences, offering a genuine and relatable view of how Freemasonry has enriched their lives, friendships and sense of community.
The evening will conclude with thanks to our guests and an open invitation for those who wish to continue their enquiries to find out how they might take the next steps towards joining.
