At a recent Provincial meeting, WBro Tim Fussell, Provincial Senior Grand Warden, had the pleasure of presenting a cheque for £1,250 to WBro F. E. Margot, Assistant Provincial Grand Master, in support of the Teddies for Loving Care (TLC) charity.
This generous donation was the result of funds raised through WBro Fussell’s Masters List, who had proudly chosen TLC as their charity of the year. Their efforts and commitment to this wonderful cause reflect the very best of Masonic charity and community spirit.
Adding to this already impressive total, a further £120 was raised through the sale of the newly launched Hero Lapel Pins, organised by Bro Kevin Calvert, the newly appointed Charity Steward. His enthusiasm and dedication have helped to make an immediate impact, supporting a cause that continues to bring comfort to children in hospital emergency departments across the country.
The TLC initiative provides teddy bears to Accident and Emergency units, offering reassurance and comfort to children during what can often be a distressing experience.
This presentation stands as a testament to the generosity, teamwork, and compassion that define Freemasonry – with every penny raised going towards bringing a smile to a child’s face when they need it most.
