The Lodge of Merit No 466 which meets in Stamford has been involved in conjunction with the Woods Family Fair in assisting to provide a safe and exclusive fair experience to local Stamford children and young adults with learning needs. W.Bro Ian Hall was the instigator and it is now in its eleventh year. I am sure that all the brethren involved get as much enjoyment and satisfaction as the guests themselves!

Rushden Lady Associate Members (LAMs) were delighted to welcome Provincial Grand Charity secretary Dr Kevin Williams to their Charity Coffee Morning and invited him to present their cheque for £3000 to Karen Hughes of the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance Service.

Huntingdon Group Officers were out in force for the Huntingdon Carnival, Riverside Park, Saturday 10 August, enabling the public to Discover Freemasonry. The Huntingdon Town Mayor, and Sothius Lodge member, Cllr Karl Brocket warmly welcomed the crew to the event and introduced his own potential candidate to the Team. Although his civic duties currently prevent his active involvement in Lodge, he is grateful for the contact and encouragement he receives from the Lodge and is looking forward to expanding his involvement in the near future.
