On Saturday 25 July the Lodge of Perseverance joined with the St Crispin’s Brass Band to provide an afternoon of entertainment for the residents of Devonshire Court.
The afternoon followed a tried and tested format used by Leicestershire Lodges and indeed Fitzwilliam from our own Province. Worshipful Master W Bro Andrew Watson welcomed the residents and introduced the band. During the proceedings Prosecco and Northamptonshire strawberries were served to the residents who also enjoyed a free raffle.
At the conclusion of the concert W Bro John Kernick (a resident with a 50 year Masonic career) thanked the Lodges for a most enjoyable afternoon.
If any of the Lodges in the Province would like to do something similar please speak to W Bro David Watson (the Provincial Treasurer and a Trustee of RMBI) who would be please to advise.
