It is with great sadness that we advise of the passing of WBro Mike Green to the Grand Lodge Above on 14th September 2024.
WBro Mike was initiated into Freemasonry with Pomfret Lodge No. 360 on 3rd February 1983, serving as Worshipful Master in 1994 and Charity Steward for many years. He also had been a joining member of the Lodge of the Oldest Ally No. 9524, having periods as Secretary covering more than 10 years. His first Provincial appointment was to Provincial Grand Steward in 1996, before receiving several others culminating in an appointment to Past Provincial Junior Grand Warden in 2009.
Exalted into the Royal Arch in Northampton Chapter C360 in 1988, Comp Mike progressed through the offices to reach MEZ in 2001. He went on to serve as Charity Steward in the Northamptonshire & Huntingdonshire Chapter of First Principals, before being appointed as Provincial Grand Charity Steward from 2008 to 2017. Grand Rank in the Royal Arch followed in 2012 with an appointment of Past Grand Standard Bearer (PGStB).

Northampton Chapter Scribe E, Stephen Hardy said,
'He was an extremely valued member of Northampton 360 chapter and orders, he will be very much missed '.

- Reception at The Stags Head, Great Doddington
