As part of the preparation for the Annual Festival of the Federation of School Lodges on Saturday 31st August 2024, the President of the Federation RWBro Sir David Wootton PDGM and 2nd GP (pictured below) met with President Elect RWBro Mark Constant PGM at Peterborough Train Station on a flying visit to conduct the handover of the Presidents' Collaret and Gavel.
The Annual Festival is being held at Kimbolton Castle this Saturday under the auspices of the Old Kimboltonians Lodge No. 7204. However, Sir David, due to a long standing family commitment, is unable to attend, but passed on his very best wishes in person for a successful Festival and AGM.
In coming President for the next 3 years, RWBro Mark Constant, said, 'We are most grateful to Sir David for his kind visit and look forward to a very happy occasion not only this Saturday, but also for the coming years'.
