The night of December the 27th was the annual get together at The Brewery Tap pub in Peterborough for staff, governors and ex Kings School pupils – the Peterborough school to which Scholia Regia Lodge is mainly associated. It was an extremely well attended event and Graham Worraker, Worshipful Master, Bas Clare, Secretary, Rich Parsons, Treasurer, Brother William Moore, and Adrian Woolley, Membership Officer attended to represent the Lodge.
Graham and Adrian arrived just before 7pm to set up an information stand, displaying Masonic literature on the table which, due to the large numbers expected to attend, was positioned towards the back of the pub.
Over the evening they had interest from five attendees, who all filled in forms with their details, and seemed genuinely keen. The night was the Lodge’s first venture of this sort, and as well as picking up five possible candidates they also learnt a lot for future events.
