Our Province is blessed with several lodges of special interest, so when WBro Ian Nelson of the Provincial Communications Committee put forward the idea of a group of brethren meeting-up online to record their own version of Dame Vera Lynn's We'll Meet Again, who else could we turn to other than Pro Musica Lodge No. 9547!
Accordingly, following a few telephone calls, several brethren from the Lodge readily accepted the challenge and overcame considerable practical, musical and technical obstacles to put on a superb performance, one that is truly wonderful and so fitting for these most difficult of times!
Our thanks go to musical director and conductor WBro Bill Wright. Also, WBro Mike Hurcombe, WBro Stephen Quincey, WBro John Brennan, Bro Jonathon Bush, WBro John Harvey and WBro Kevin Mackie for their outstanding performances.
We also thank WBro Kevin Mackie for his technical and organisational expertise in pulling it all together.
The Provincial Grand Master, RWBro Max Bayes, enthused:
Well done chaps. That was lovely, and we most certainly will!
We join the PGM in thanking all those involved for helping us to drive those "dark clouds far away" and keep "smiling through"!
Calling All Performers!
Do you think you can put on a performance to rival the boys from Pro Music Lodge?
Why not enter Masons Got Talent and do your bit to bring a smile to the face of your fellow brethren?
