A Fine Installation for St John's Lodge No. 3972

The meeting of St John's Lodge No. 3972 on Monday the 21st of October 2019 at Sheaf Close, Northampton saw WBro Michael Long PPJGW installed as Worshipful Master.

Having served as Master of Featherstone Lodge No. 7851 in 1996, 2003 and 2011, and Piscator Lodge No. 7557 in 2011, the event marked the 5th time that WBro Michael had been installed into the Chair of King Solomon

The Lodge was honoured to have the Provincial Grand Master, RWBro Max Bayes, as the official visitor. The PGM was accompanied by WBro Tom Webster ProvDepGDC.

There were 21-members and 38-visitors in attendance including several brethren from sister lodges in Scotland and one from a sister lodge in Germany.

The sense of pride within the Lodge was palpable throughout the ceremony, and the festive board was a lovely warm convivial event enjoyed by all.

During the evening, the Worshipful Master most generously presented all those in attendance with the gift of a celebratory Masonic firing glass to commemorate the Lodge's Centenary.

We congratulate WBro Michael on his installation and wish him an enjoyable and productive year as Master.

We have no doubt that he will do an excellent job leading the Lodge in its quest to become a member of the UGLE Universities Scheme.
