On Saturday the 29th of June 2019, the hottest day of the year thus far, members of Chicheley Lodge No. 607 from Thrapston manned a stall in the High Street for the fifth year running as part of the Annual Thrapston Charter Fair.
Their goal? To let the general-public know that Freemasonry is thriving in Thrapston.
The brethren of Chicheley made sure that, in addition to enjoying live music and a host of other entertainment throughout the day, there was a broad spectrum of visual and written material about Freemasonry available for who were interested.
Indeed, during the three hours that the fair was open, several visitors to the stall expressed a serious interest in joining.
They were invited to attend an open evening to be held at Thrapston Bowls Club on Monday the 7th of October 2019. The Bowls Clubs is the venue of the meal (festive board) that takes place after each of Chicheley's meetings.
Previous open-evenings have proved very successful, and anyone interested in attending to discover more about Freemasonry in Thrapston is encouraged to contact Chicheley Lodge's secretary via the contact form:
