The envy of branches throughout the country, our local branch of the Masonic Trout & Salmon Fishing Charity (MTSFC) has a brand new publicity trailer.
Suggested by WBro Trevor Pywell, it is to used as a portable storage unit for the equipment needed at each of the branch’s local events. It will promote interest in Freemaosnry in general and the Charity in particular and make it much easier to transport marquees, chairs, catering equipment and the like.
The trustees of the Margaret Giffen Charitable Trust agreed to finance the purchase of the new trailer at a cost of £5,000.
The official handover of the trailer will be at the branch’s fishing event on 25 September at Ringstead Islands Fishery - to be held there by the kind permission of the Wellingborough and District Angling Association.
