A party of Peterborough Masons and their wives recently paid a visit to the Royal Assembly Rooms in Great Yarmouth where they were very warmly received by both Norfolk and Suffolk Masons. There followed a most enjoyable and entertaining tour of the building led by the chairman of the local Masonic Association WBro PS Armes. During their visit the party met some Brethren from the ten Craft Lodges that meet at the centre - eight from Norfolk and two from Suffolk. They meet informally during the summer months to practise their ritual - they call it a Lodge of Confusion!
A chat and morning coffee in the bar brought the visit to a close. The Brethren and their wives had made the short journey along the coast from Hopton-on-Sea where they were attending a Big Band Festival.
