A record number attend the Initiates evening in Northampton on 29 February. With 165 Masons and their partners attending, this was the largest number and proof enough of the popularity of this event.

The meeting was chaired by the Provincial Grand Master, RWBro Max Bayes with the Assistant Provincial Grand Master, WBro Norman Pope giving presentation on Masonic Charity. WBro Reg Hirst, in his usual inimitable style gave an explanation of the Lodge room and its artefacts.
The meeting was concluded by a most enjoyable supper.
