On 17 May 2012, RWBro Max Bayes, presided over his first Provincial Grand Lodge as Provincial Grand Master. It was also the last to be held at the Northampton Masonic Centre in St George's Avenue.
During the meeting the PGM announced that contracts on the sale of these premises and purchase of the new premises are due to be exchanged shortly.

380 Masons attended the meeting at which RWBro Wayne Williams stood down as Assistant
Provincial Grand Master and the PGM appointed WBro Jim Boughton as his replacement.
