In July 2011, Lodge of Perseverance No 455 members & guests enjoyed a summer BBQ at the Loddington home of the WM, WBro Peter Robinson WM. The object was to donate half the funds raised to the Alzheimer's Society and half to Children with Cancer UK .
Due to the generosity of everyone who attended over £1,000 was raised on the day. The Provincial Grand Charity generously matched this effort for which the Lodge was most grateful. This enabled the Lodge to present cheques of £1,000 to each of these very worthy causes.
