Provincial Demonstration Team Update - January 2009

The Provincial Demonstration Group was established in 2008 to present historic Masonic plays for the enjoyment and education of Brethren in the Province.  The Group membership is now 50. The next meeting of the Group is at 10 am on Saturday 31 January, at Freemasons' Hall, Northampton. Members and guests are welcome to attend.

A Call for New Members

The Brethren who attended the Team’s inaugural meeting in September are very enthusiastic about the concept and the programme of plays.  They have identified four plays they will put into production in 2009/10, with more planned over the next three years. The first play, “ Lodge Night 1759”, has been written and is in rehearsals for its March première. The Team want to involve members from all Masonic Centres and as many Lodges and Chapters as they can from across the Province. They need actors (AmDram experience or just want to 'have a go'), researchers, writers, help with props & costumes, a bookings secretary, help with marketing & publicity and help with logistics.
