The Parish Church of St Katharine's in Irchester is over 820 years old. The (not quite so old) Vicar is WBro Revd John Simmons of De La Pre Lodge No 1911.
He has issued a general invitation to attend a traditional Holy Communion Service at the Church on Christmas Eve. He will be the Celebrant and Preacher.
Those needing sustenance before the service may like to note that, opposite the Church is the the Carpenters Arms.
