Bro Mike Bolger is the Senior Warden of St Wilfrid Lodge No 4453 and a House Tutor in at Oundle School. On 25 November 2009 he visited Freemasons’ Hall, Northampton, with three pupils of the School’s Upper Sixth, Rory Preston, Charlie Hill and William Dugdale.

Earlier this year they had been involved in an ‘Auction of Promises’ charitable fund raising event. They heard about and were impressed by the objectives of Teddies for Loving Care. With the enthusiastic support of their parents and the encouragement of their Tutor, Bro Mike, and they decided to make a generous donation of £2,000. They were received by the Assistant Provincial Grand Master, WBro Wayne Williams who explained the principals of Freemasonry and answered their questions. He then received their cheque for which he expressed his sincere apprecitation. Rounding off their visit he gave them a conducted tour of the building including the Palmer Temple. |
