He was given a warm fraternal welcome by the Master (WBro Tony Szucs) and all the other officers and brethren present. After a very enjoyable meeting, he was pleased to make an official presentation on behalf of this Province to our counterparts in the Grand Lodge of Nova Scotia represented by MW Bro Carson Jackson and MW Bro Gordon Conrad.
This was of a glass paperweight engraved with the coat of arms of the Province of Northamptonshire & Huntingdonshire, and a letter to the Grand Master from our Provincial Grand Master congratulating them on reaching this milestone.
In accepting the gift from across the seas, MW Bro Jackson thanked WBro Ward for the kind and thoughtful gesture of this Province and remarked that it did indeed show masonry was truly universal. He added that the gift was thankfully received by the Grand Master and would be in use on his desk as a constant reminder of the friendship between our two constitutions.
