The honour of hosting the first Masonic meeting at the new home of Freemasonry in Northamptonshire and Huntingdonshire has fallen to the Province's oldest Lodge.
In a new chapter in the distinguished history of Pomfret Lodge No 360, it was the first to meet at the newly completed Freemasons Hall, Sheaf Close in Northampton on Friday 10 May 2013.

Unfortunately the Candidate for initiation had been taken ill and was unable to attend. However, this did not dampen enthusiasm or lessen the enjoyment of the evening for over fifty Brethren who attended. These included WBro Barry Cole PAGDC, the official representative of the Provincial Grand Master, RWBro Max Bayes, the Provincial Gand Master himself, the Senior Provincial Grand Warden, WBro Jeremy Higgins and the Junior Provincial Grand Warden, WBro George Clayton
On being welcomed by the Worshipful Master, WBro John Wright, WBro Barry Cole said
I am so pleased that circumstances have conspired to bring me here to represent the Provincial Grand Master on this historic and auspicious occasion. I am highly honoured to be a part of it."
