The wettest summer in 100 years failed to stop Buckby Castle Lodge's traditional pig roast and BBQ, the Lodge's major fundraising event of his Masonic year.
The WM, WBro Graham Ballinger hosted the event on Saturday 25 August 2012 at Fox Hill Park, a wonderful lakeside setting between Long Buckby and West Haddon. The 130 who attended enjoyed great hospitality and excellent food and helped raise £3,155 in aid of the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA) and Masonic Charities.
The evening culminated with an evening of popular music, performed by the Worshipful Master, his Director of Ceremony's WBro John Wilkes and some immediate family members.
A cheque for £1,577.50 was later presented to Mrs Tracy Grunwell, WNAA Fundraising Manager by WBros John Wilkes and Graham Ballinger.
