In December 2012 an Irthlingborough based charity, Headway East Northants, received a donation totalling £600 from local Masons. It is a charitable organisation providing support and services to those with brain injury, family members and carers affected by an acquired brain injury.

A Trustee of Headway, WBro John Hodgkinson of Grey Friars Lodge No 4990, presented a cheque for £500 (made up of £250 raised within the Lodge and £250 from the Provincial Grand Charity) and a cheque for £100 from the Thomas à Beckett Rose Croix Chapter No 155.
Dawn Wright, Centre Manager, thanked WBro John Hodgkinson for the donations which she said would help greatly in the Centre's support efforts.
